Few days back a Mister asked me a simple question " what are the qualities of current generation?" In rply he got many answers like scared, tension free, career conscious, stubborn, fun loving; but I guess he didn't got what he wanted, so he told me one more quality that we are The Most intelligent generation, and every one accepted it with huge support.
The one thought which came to mind after he left was... Was he serious about it ?? or is it just another effort by a workshop organisers to lure us in. And I realised yes we are not only "THE" Most intelligent generation but I guess the last too.
Most of the readers will not be please with my statement and that's because its "my" perception . And for very few who are interested in knowing the reason I have a story for y'all.
There was a 3 year old boy playing in his father's field. A traveller was passing by and after taking a glimpse of kid he knew that he was an intelligent chap. So he taught him a trick of adding two numbers by taking an "example" of 999 & 799. Boy was more than happy and his father felt proud on his son's intelligence. Slowly year passed and every time father meet someone he flaunts his son's trick... people felt impressed.
Slowly the time passed and this father son practice continued , but the catch of trick was son was doing the trick with "same" numbers from past many years.
So now coming back to my question was he intelligent or "artificial" intelligent
That's what our education have become.... The same example every time only difference is that the term for it is improved syllabus....
Now its up to us to decide which type of intelligent we want to term it as....intelligent or artificial intelligence.....
